What the Piper Intake Looks Like
We walked through the Piper intake ourselves from the opening eligibility email all the way through the Review-and-Pay screen. Piper runs one of the leanest public intakes in our catalog — 12 screens, ~3 minutes, and essentially no clinical gating before checkout. All of the medical review happens asynchronously with the provider after payment is authorized.

The 5 Stages
Piper’s public intake is effectively an e-commerce flow. It captures demographics, a prior-GLP-1 overlap yes/no, BMI, medication choice, additive preference, and shipping information — and then closes with a Review-and-Pay screen. There is no contraindication multi-select, no MTC or MEN-2 screen, no pancreatitis screen, no pregnancy screen, no eating disorder screen, no mental-health screen, no substance-use screen, no medical-history multi-select, no allergy capture, no current medications list, no blood pressure, no heart rate, no comorbidity capture, and no family history screen captured in the flow. All of the clinical gating happens asynchronously with the provider after the patient authorizes payment. The reassurance — “You’ll only be charged once prescribed. You won’t be charged if a provider determines that treatment isn’t right for you” — means card authorization holds the plan, not a committed charge. Still, the lack of a written safety net means Piper’s intake is not a place to reality-check contraindications before committing.
Two plan options surface at the final Review-and-Pay screen: 6-Month Plan at $135/mo or 3-Month Plan at $166.33/mo (with a “Total if prescribed $499.00” tally). Card, Affirm, Bank, Klarna, and Afterpay are all available. FSA/HSA eligible. A discount code field is exposed.
