GLP-1.Reviews is in the process of assembling an independent Medical Advisory Board of licensed physicians, pharmacists, and registered dietitians to medically review clinical content published on this site.
Current Status
Our Medical Advisory Board is currently being formed. Until a licensed medical reviewer is engaged and has reviewed a piece of clinical content on this site, every article is labeled “Pending Medical Review” in its byline. We do not fabricate reviewer names, credentials, or endorsements. When a reviewer is engaged, their full name, credentials, license state, and any professional profile links will be published here and attached to the specific articles they have reviewed.
Who We Are Looking For
- Physicians (MD or DO) — board-certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, family medicine, obesity medicine, or primary care, with an active license in at least one U.S. state.
- Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN) — with credentials in medical nutrition therapy and experience counseling patients on GLP-1 medications and related metabolic care.
- Pharmacists (PharmD) — with drug-safety and compounding expertise relevant to semaglutide, tirzepatide, and the broader GLP-1 drug class.
How the Review Process Will Work
Once the board is formed, every clinical article will go through a documented medical review before being labeled as reviewed. Each review will include:
- A check that all clinical claims are backed by FDA labeling, peer-reviewed research, or publicly verifiable provider documentation.
- A check that contraindications, black-box warnings, and disqualifying conditions are accurately represented.
- A check that pricing, insurance, and access claims reflect the provider’s public disclosures at the time of review.
- A dated, credential-attributed byline on the article itself, linking back to the reviewer’s bio on this page.
Interested in Joining?
Licensed physicians, RDs, and pharmacists interested in joining the GLP-1.Reviews Medical Advisory Board can reach out at glp1.reviews@gmail.com. We’re looking for independent reviewers who are comfortable publicly standing behind their reviews and who share our commitment to evidence-based, buyer-side consumer health information.
This page will be updated as board members are engaged. It is intentionally published in its current state so that readers, prospective partners, and search engines can see the honest current state of our medical review process. No reviewer names or credentials are displayed until they are real.
