Sponsorship Policy: What Money Buys, and What It Can’t

GLP-1.Reviews takes money in three ways: a one-time fee to review and list a provider, labeled sponsored placements, and affiliate commissions on some links. This page states exactly what that money buys and what it cannot. It applies to every provider, whether or not they pay us.

What a sponsor buys

  • A labeled sponsored placement, for a stated term. A sponsored box on the homepage or on relevant comparison pages, placed above or beside our ranked lists. It always carries the word “Sponsored”, and its links are marked as sponsored. The term is fixed in advance, and the placement ends when the term ends.
  • A review and listing (one-time $499). We run our standard review, including a walkthrough of the provider’s intake, and publish a listing page. The fee pays for the work, not for the result.

What money never buys

  • A score, or any change to one.
  • A rank or position in any ranked list, chart, comparison table or “best” page.
  • Removal, softening or delay of a finding.
  • Advance sight of a review, a score or a finding before it publishes.
  • A badge, award or label that reads as an editorial judgment.

How you can tell a placement is paid

  • Every sponsored placement says “Sponsored”. There is no way to show one without the label.
  • Sponsored placements look different from ranked entries. They are never placed inside a ranked list or styled to resemble a ranked row.
  • A sponsor’s own ranked entry stays wherever its score puts it, unchanged, in the same view as its sponsored placement.
  • A sponsor’s review page states that the provider has a paid relationship with us.

How a score can legitimately change

A score changes only when we verify new evidence and publish what changed. We check what a provider tells us against an independent record wherever one exists: FDA’s list of registered outsourcing facilities, the federal NPI registry, state pharmacy licence records, and LegitScript’s directory. Documents we cannot verify do not move a score. The process is the same for every provider. Providers that pay us get the same verification, and in practice more, because that is the relationship most likely to be questioned.

Affiliate commissions

Some links on this site earn us a commission if a reader starts treatment. Commissions do not affect a score, a rank or a finding. A provider with no commercial relationship with us can rank first.
