The pre-booking intake is short, but the single condition multi-select is unusually well-designed — it covers FDA black-box MTC and MEN2 family history alongside pregnancy, active eating disorder, pancreatitis, T1D, and substance abuse in one safety-focused screen.
Very quick to complete. The main friction point is that the final step commits you to a real scheduled video appointment with a named physician — that’s a meaningful time commitment even though the intake itself is fast.

PlushCare is a primary-care telehealth platform, and its GLP-1 pathway is built around a scheduled video appointment with a licensed physician. Your intake ends with an actual doctor’s name, date, and time (for example, “Dr. Stephen Dernlan, Monday April 13, 2026, 11:15 AM PDT”) and you finish creating your account while the appointment slot is held. For patients who prefer talking through their medical history with a clinician rather than filling out an extensive pre-visit questionnaire, this is a meaningfully different model from most GLP-1 telehealth platforms.
The single condition multi-select early in the flow is notably thoughtful. In 8 options it covers three FDA black-box warning conditions (MTC family history, MEN2 family history, pancreatitis), two absolute GLP-1 contraindications (Type 1 diabetes, pregnancy), and two safety-critical behavioral flags (active eating disorder, substance abuse). Selecting any of these would route the patient differently. For patients it’s a fast safety gate; for reviewers it’s a sign the intake prioritizes safety over breadth.
