It also doesn’t collect an actual blood pressure reading (hypertension is a checkbox), doesn’t have a dedicated eating-disorder screen (eating disorder is buried in an “additional conditions” list), and doesn’t ask about substance use beyond a single “heavy alcohol” checkbox.
If you answer “yes” to the government-insurance question mid-flow, Ro shows a disclosure that they cannot coordinate coverage with Medicare / Medicaid / VA / TRICARE / federal / state / city employee plans. You’re then routed to the cash-pay Ro Body Membership path ($149/mo, first month $39 with promo). Commercial and employer-based insurance customers also end up on the same cash-pay path — Ro doesn’t currently bill any insurance directly for GLP-1s, though they do coordinate prior authorization pathways separately.
